SUSTAINABLE Projects

DOB, dee sembe, Dear DOBers,

Over the past few weeks, in July we have
2The World for his Glory conducted by Dareyl Pearman,
4 villages can provide more than 200 water filters.
The water filters are divided per families.
This project is all about being together spiritually, that is, praying together. In a period of impotence, the word of GOD is always welcome and gives strength.
DOB, together with 2 The World for his Glory, decided not only to support through prayer, offering bible in Saamaka, but also to offer people a sustainable product, water filter pump.

HEALTH FIRST
There are numerous villages with families displaced by the water disaster (March 2022 to July 10, 2022).
The challenges in Brokopondo district have been magnified by this disaster which has left the community even more confronted with its disadvantaged position.
The houses with rusted zinc sheets can pose a health hazard in the long term.

Filtering collected rainwater ensures safer drinking water.
Darryl Pearman has extensively demonstrated in each village how this water filter works, if it is unclear to the residents, the Basiya or Captain is the person who will personally install the water filter pump.

Sustainable character
The material of the water filter is made of the same durable material that is used in the medical world to purify the blood.
After purifying the 4 millionth liter, the water filter can be discarded.
Cleaning of the water filter is done by pumping 2 liters of purified water with an enclosed water syringe.
